Abstract
This document defines the dimensional characteristics of motion-picture theaters. It proposes an update to the latest version of the NF S 27001 standard. It is reiterated that these characteristics must also comply with the provisions set out in the most recent edition of the Regulation "Fire Safety – Establishments Open to the Public", published by the Journaux Officiels. These dimensional characteristics apply whatever the distribution medium chosen, film or digital.

Le présent document définit les caractéristiques dimensionnelles des salles de spectacle cinématographique. Il propose une mise à jour de la dernière version dela norme NF S 27001. Il est rappelé que ces caractéristiques doivent en outre respecter les stipulations mentionnées dans la plus récente édition du Règlement "Sécurité contre l'Incendie - Établissements recevant du Public", édité par les Journaux Officiels. Ces caractéristiques dimensionnelles sont applicables quel que soit le support de diffusion retenu, argentique ou numérique.
