Abstract
These technical recommendations define the technical characteristics of projection rooms of the "35 MM CINEMA THEATRE" type.

In France, where a theatre referring to this document is a cinema exhibition theatre under the operating authorizations issued by the Centre National de la Cinématographie, it should also comply with the provisions of standard NF S 27001 "Dimensional characteristics of cinema exhibition theaters".

For all countries, it is recalled that cinema theaters must also comply with the legal provisions on the safety of the public and staff. Specific arrangements must often be adopted so that the different regulations (safety and technical) can coexist.

Les présentes recommandations techniques définissent les caractéristiques techniques des salles de projection de type "SALLE DE CINEMA 35 MM".

En France, dans le cas où la salle se référençant au présent document serait une salle de spectacle cinématographique au titre des autorisations d'exercice délivrées par le Centre National de la Cinématographie, elle devrait également respecter les dispositions de la norme NF S 27001 "Caractéristiques dimensionnelles des salles de spectacles cinématographiques".

Pour tous les pays, il est rappelé que les salles de cinéma doivent en outre respecter les dispositions légales concernant la sécurité du public et du personnel. Des dispositions particulières doivent souvent être adoptées afin de faire cohabiter les différentes réglementations (sécurité et technique).
