Abstract
A previous paper1 discussed the advantages of multi-level compositing when compared with “one layer at a time” techniques, and described the architecture of a system designed to provide multi-layer capabilities in the digital domain. This paper examines a number of issues which affect the quality of composited images in the digital domain, and solutions implemented in the Grass Valley Group Kaleidoscope and Kadenza systems.
