Nestor M. Rodriguez is a senior technical project leader at Kodak, having over 30 years of experience in both film and hardware imaging technology in the company's research, development, manufacturing, and marketing organizations. He received a B.S. in physics and an M.S. in engineering from St. John Fisher College and Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), respectively, in addition to completing graduate work in the field of image science at RIT. His current role is with Kodak's Entertainment Imaging Division R&D group, leading technical teams in the development of digital technology/products for motion picture and TV image origination, including image science methodology for digital post-production. He has over a dozen patents (or pending) in these subject are as pertaining to telecine, optical projection soundtrack, electronic and film image capture, and image processing. His most recent projects included the development of an electronic digital camera/processor prototype system in which the images emulated the image capture capability/look of camera film, and the Kodak Vision2 HD system for digital film. Rodriguez is currently working on image-processing solutions for the digital intermediate workflow. He is the editor and co-author of the Radiometry and Photometry chapter in the Handbook of Photographic Science and Engineering.

Richard B. Wheeler is a senior principal scientist at Eastman Kodak Company. He received a B.S. degree in chemistry and systems engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). He holds 18 U.S. patents in fields such as camera autofocusing and exposure control systems, chemical and digital image processing, and image-quality modelling. He co-authored chapters in the Handbook of Image Quality: Characterization and Prediction, and has taught various courses on this topic. His current work is focused on optimizing the design of digital intermediate systems for motion picture and television applications.
