Calibration of Color Motion-Picture Printers

Abstract: Knowledge of the relationship between printer light and log E values is necessary for accurate color timing. Information relating color-correction or intensity-changing filters to log E values is also needed. A method suitable for the calibration of both additive and subtractive motion-picture printers is given.
