Abstract: The introduction of reversal film — both black-and-white and color — made 16mm photography very acceptable for commercial use. Release prints in quantity were a problem. New printing equipment had to be designed and built, and new materials and techniques had to be improved. This paper will describe the methods used by The Calvin Company for producing high-quality release prints in quantity at the present time.
