A New Approach to Television Studio Control-Room Design

Abstract: Conventional control-room layout is reversed so that production personnel have their backs to the windows looking into the studio, and face the picture monitors placed in a luminous wall. Design criteria have been obtained from the points of view of physical layout, seating arrangements and lighting for a controlled working environment.
