Abstract: The clerical work of any membership committee is interesting and not arduous. Whether a great increase in membership is secured is dependent on the new sources of possible members known to individuals on the Committee. During the past six months only one new source has been discovered and this by Mr. L. C. Porter. Mr. Porter had the great notion of sending in to the Committee the names of all persons inquiring for Transactions so that they might be circularized with the Society's literature. At least fifteen new members have been secured in this manner. Of the remainder eight more have come in by introductions from existing members of the Society, and four are in the process of admission. This makes an effective increase of twenty-seven.
