Abstract: The Scopitone is an automatic self-contained sound film projection system intended either for coin-in-slot operation for public entertainment, or for instructional uses. It incorporates several novel mechanical features that permit the rapid selection of one of thirty-six available films, and repeated projections with minimum damage to the prints.
