- Abstract
- This paper describes the methods used by Fox in preserving its valuable newsreel collection. The two film scanners used to capture the entire library are described, as well as the high-resolution capture system used. A general overview is given of the overall process, including the standard television functions, audio, film transport, control system, and packaging.
