Abstract: This paper describes a new 35-mm film recorder designed to meet the operational and performance requirements of the major Hollywood studios. Features which simplify operating the machine are described. Serviceability has been stressed throughout the design, and the many figures illustrate what has been accomplished. Performance compares favorably with any recorder yet built, and values of flutter are presented.
