- A historical and technological paper covering mainly the professional 35-mm gauge motion picture cameras designed and manufactured by the Bell & Howell Company of Chicago, III. Their importance to the standardization of the 35-mm film gauge, as well as their part in the Bell & Howell Standard 35-mm System, is also covered. Other major pieces of Bell & Howell 35-mm equipment are also mentioned as historical references, especially those that comprised the original Bell & Howell “System” of the early 1900's.
