- Abstract
- The Framework for Interoperable Media Systems (FIMS) Task Force is a joint effort between the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and the Advanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA) to seek out a common approach to the integration of software components in modern media production facilities. The FIMS effort is defining Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) for the professional media industry under a royalty-free framework in an effort to make this technology accessible and affordable.
