Abstract
Following the publication of the Final Report of the EBU/SMPTE Task Force for the Harmonization of Standards for the Exchange of Programme Material as Bit Streams (TFHS), work has proceeded rapidly towards implementing the report's recommendations. These include the establishment and management of an SMPTE Registry of Metadata, the documentation of an SMPTE Data Model for description of Content Packages, and the specification of several different Wrapper formats for different applications including both simple or and complex Content Packages.
