Abstract
The color gamut extention with the negative RGB method for the STEP 2 colorimetory has been studied. Along with the negative RGB method, we investigated into the color reproduction characteristics of conventional television systems, and propose a method to improve these characteristics. We developed a hardware, and confirmed that the hardware has widened color gamut effectively using the proposed method.
