Abstract
Lag in a television camera tube is the measure of the rate of decay of the video signal when the illumination is changed or cut-off. The lag is usually measured as a percent of the original signal level after an interval of time from the removal of the light. Build-up lag is the term applied to the rate of build-up of signal when light is applied to a camera tube.
