Abstract: Over the years, two-way communications systems have continued to grow in their operating flexibility and mobility. The vehicle mounted radio has given way to the smaller, lower power radios. With communications associated with the person rather than the vehicle, entry into an apartment building, basement, garage or shopping center never leaves the user without communications to his base station. This increased mobility has placed additional demands on the coverage requirements.

Bob Fleissner was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He attended schools there including Marquette University College of Engineering from which he holds a BSEE Degree. Bob has spent twenty years in the two-way radio field. The last twelve years, he has been assigned to the field of systems engineering in the northeastern part of the country. Bob is married, has three children and lives in Glen Rock, New Jersey. His hobby is music. He is choir director and organist at St. Catharine's Church in Glen Rock and has been choral director for amateur presentations of many musical shows.
