- This paper describes some of the difficulties the design team of ITK had to overcome to build their new high definition telecine based on CRT/flying spot technology. It also aims to explain how some old problems in this field were resolved with new concepts.

David Corbitt works for Innovation TK as a US based Support and Development Engineer. He has been with them since November 1998. Previous to that time he worked in the NY post production community as Director of Telecine Engineering at Manhattan Transfer from 1990–98. Dave is a member of SMPTE and has worked in the video post production community since 1974. During the period 1980–86, he worked for Rank Cintel as their East Coast service manager. Innovation TK or ITK is a fairly new company based in Hertford, England. ITK has been building upgrades for telecines for 4 years now and has recently turned to manufacture of completely new design telecines. - Copyright
