Abstract
Entertainment is becoming multimedia and audiovisual. Hearing impaired people are unable to access a particular type of entertainment if an appropriate action is not taken. For a hearing impaired person to fully enjoy the audiovisual entertainment is vital using closed captioning. There are rules and recommendations for the proper inclusion of subtitles in films, but when it comes to a movie in 3D, it is necessary to perform an extra research work. Not only must position, font, font size and color must be set together with the subtitles, but also the focal length which has been making that subtitle must be chosen. This article presents a study relating to visual fatigue which means the viewer's eye three-dimensional projection of subtitles.
