- With ever increasing complexity in the distribution and delivery systems, how can providers manage content, without modifying it, while keeping costs low? Media Fingerprinting is an emerging technology that is gaining momentum and has far reaching benefits for content creators, providers and distributors alike. What is Media Fingerprinting and what are its current applications? How could standardization help promote this useful technology? This paper will address all of these issues and provide some answers.
