Karen Eastmure reviews some of the considerations and issues surrounding the “digital revolution” as it relates to production and looks at the interaction of film and digital television to achieve the best possible results.

Karen Eastmure is a Marketing Specialist for Kodak's Professional Motion Imaging group in Australia. Having spent 12 years ‘on the road' as an Account Manager Karen has experience with many aspects of the industry including the areas of TV drama and commercials. She has had the opportunity to participate in the introduction to the industry of two new emulsion technology platforms, “EXR” and “Vision” and has provided sales and technical support for these products to the motion picture and television industry.
