Abstract: The Alliance for Open Media (AOMedia)1 has been continuing its work on media-related specifications since the SMPTE progress report in 2022.2 Updates on selected activities from the alliance’s working groups are given below. For general information about AOMedia, the reader is referred to the 2022 AOMedia progress report.2

Andrey Norkin is a co-chair of the Alliance for Open Media’s (AOM’s) Royalty-Free Video Codec Working Group (CWG). He is a research scientist at Netflix and has also been involved in the development of encoding techniques for OTT video streaming.
Adrian Grange

Adrian Grange is a member of Google’s Open Codecs Team and was an active contributor to the VPx and AV1 video codecs. He is a co-chair of the Alliance for Open Media’s Royalty-Free Video Codec Working Group (CWG).
Jani Huoponen
bio
Jani Huoponen works as a group product manager at Google Open Media team. In his current role, he is a member of AOMedia Storage and Transport Formats WG as well as Audio Codec WG, actively driving the development of next generation audio formats.
Cyril Concolato
bio
Cyril Concolato is a software engineer working on studio and streaming technologies at Netflix. He is the chair of AOM’s Storage and Transport Format Working Group (STF WG) and an editor of various AOM specifications.
Ioannis Katsavounidis

Ioannis Katsavounidis is a research scientist with the Video Infrastructure Team at Meta. He is a co-chair of AOM’s Software Implementation Working Group (SIWG).
Hassene Tmar

Hassene Tmar is a technical program manager for media at Meta. He continues to hold the software coordinator of the SVT-AV1 code base after being adopted by the AOM SIWG since August 2020.
Tim Harris
bio
Tim Harris works as an engineering manager at Meta in Video Infra. For AOM, he is the current chair of the AOM Audio Codec WG.
Roman Cherniak
bio
Roman Cherniak is a principal engineer at Tencent America. He is a co-chair of the Software Implementation Working group in the Alliance for Open Media.
Khaled Mammou
bio
Khaled Mammou is a senior engineer at Apple working on designing 3D compression solutions. He is the co-chair of the AOMedia Volumetric Visual Media Working Group.
Shan Liu
bio
Shan Liu is currently a distinguished scientist and a general manager at Tencent. She is a co-chair of the AOMedia Volumetric Visual Media Working Group.
