- Abstract
- From 1992 to early 1994, the ITU/B (CCIR) conducted an extensive investigation in ghost cancellation technology and defined an effective ghost cancellation reference (GCR) signal standard (System C) for 525-line and 625-line television systems to improve future television broadcasting yuality, for both terrestrial and cable environments. This paper will discuss the properties and applications of the GCR signal.
