Abstract: Among the many specialized duties which confront every audio-visual director is that of maintaining high-quality performance of projection equipment. Because the typical director does not have the time or the inclination to become an electronics engineer or repairman, which he needs to be if he does much work with a sound projector, he needs some objective means of judging the quality of performance or diagnosing trouble.
