Abstract: A new portable power supply has been designed for operation of high-speed cameras in temporary locations. Objective was to have a mobile operational unit which could be taken to test site and placed in service quickly, with all necessary electrical power obtained from the plant's 3-phase power systems. An enclosed trailer contains a permanent installation of transformers, electrical distribution systems and circuit controls, and provides storage space for cameras and accessories. The cameraman's remote panel which controls operation of lights, cameras and test event can also function as control center for complete test program and all instrumentation.
