Abstract: Because of the need of an extensive stock film library, Moody Institute of Science has developed a very effective classification and cataloging system. Modeled after the Dewey Decimal System used by public libraries, this system enables a cataloger to group similar material and make it readily available to film editors with a minimum of effort.
