Abstract: Speical building techniques have permitted the attainment of a high degree of sound isolation in the Montreal studios of Canada's National Film Board. A description is given of these techniques and of the methods whereby the various theaters and recording studios were given suitable acoustic characteristics. The apparatus and procedures used in the acoustic measurements are described.
