Abstract: On an average launch of the Gemini vehicle, approximately 50 photographic instruments collect the engineering data. The instruments which expose over 25,000 ft of film, 20,000 ft being exposed in less than 4 min, are three emergency and five surveillance cameras, 18 metric instruments, 20 engineering sequential cameras and five tracking telescopes. A motion-picture film of the actual test has been made to explain the function, requirements and data acquired.
