Abstract
A method of analysis for Elon and hydroquinone in developers is described invalving the use of methyl ethyl ketone as the extracting solvent. Tests showed it to be a better extracting solvent for Elon and hydroquinone than methyl acetate or ethyl acetate. Analyses made employing methyl ethyl ketone with the U-tube extraction method showed it to have the necessary accuracy and reproducibility for use in production control.
