Abstract: The processing of lengths of film by winding the film back and forth between immersed spools is possible because of the activity by solutions entrapped between windings as well as the activity of solutions on the film in transit. Field and laboratory processing methods have been developed for the G-3 tank which handles both 16-mm and 35-mm film up to 100-foot lengths.
