Abstract: This discussion will not be an attempt to consider, from a technical point of view, the problems of theater design as the author is neither an architect nor an engineer. Rather, it will be an attempt to call attention to some of the problems and advancements regarding the seating layout and the design of seating areas for visibility as they have been observed during twenty-three years' association with the American Seating Company as a technician.
