Abstract: During the past twenty years, great advances have been made in motion picture theater design and in theater engineering. The builder, architect, and equipment manufacturers have come to recognize the value of co-ordinating their work in order that an attractive, comfortable, well-equipped theater might result. There are outlined here some of these advances and some of the problems which have been studied in this connection.
