- Abstract
- Various models for television distribution via broadband data networks are examined and discussed from an engineering management perspective. Certain economic considerations of the distribution models, especially those likely to impact engineering design and capital expenditure decisions, are also addressed. It is concluded that broadcasters might best divest themselves from their signal-distribution roles.
