Abstract: A new color monitor has been designed to serve both as a high-quality picture display device and as an instrument for judging the quality of color TV signals. It incorporates several significant design innovations, both electrical and mechanical. The highly stabilized circuits provide a picture of excellent quality. The control panel has been designed for simplicity of operation, and the mechanical design provides good accessibility for maintenance. The monitor is designed as a major tool for use in color TV plants.
