Abstract: Motion-picture film is usually cleaned with materials that require the use of an exhaust hood to prevent any hazard to the operator. In the usual exhaust hood there is a steady influx of air carrying airborne dirt some of which settles on film which has just been cleaned. A dust-free exhaust hood has been developed which utilizes a curtain of filtered air to prevent the entrance of airborne dirt.
