Abstract: A lightweight sound-on-film recording system has been made of a portable power supply and a miniature transistor amplifier mounted directly on the side of an Auricon 16mm camera. The power supply is housed in a standard camera gadget bag and supplies both a-c power to the camera drive motor and d-c power to the amplifier and exposure lamp. Battery replacement is kept to a minimum through the use of nickel-cadmium cells and a built-in charger.
