- Abstract
- A wide variety of low-cost television equipment is in use today to generate videotape material — mainly for training and educational purposes. Although the storage of video information on tape has some advantages, difficulties in distribution and display to large groups are definite drawbacks. For these reasons, there is an increasing desire to convert these video images to film. This paper describes a method whereby shadow-mask recordings on 16mm color film with sound can be made utilizing low-cost video equipment. The quality of these film transfers should be adequate for many applications.
