Abstract: The photographic method of measuring hypervelocities provides the distinct advantage of direct observation of the object. The slit camera system described in this Journal in March, 1959, has been modified by the use of prisms rather than front surface mirrors to provide the simplicity and rigidity requisite to the experimental light gas gun system at the Frankford Arsenal. In this modified system little, if any, image distortion has been observed as a result of using two reflecting surfaces instead of four.
