Abstract: The Foundation of Mosfilm Studios took place after the October Revolution on the site of old Moscow motion-picture enterprises, some very old stages built in the early days of silent movies. The production of a first feature motion picture, High Up on the Wings, was completed on January 24, 1924. This date was assumed as the foundation of Mosfilm studios.
