Abstract: About two hundred members and guests of the Society assembled at the Fall, 1935, Semi-Annual Banquet at the Wardman Park Hotel, Washington, D. C., on October 23rd. Guests at the speakers' table included: Mr. Will H. Hays, President of Motion Picture Producers and Distributors of America, Inc., and speaker of the evening; The Honorable Kent Keller, Chairman of the Library Committee of Congress; The Honorable Justyn Miller, Special Assistant Attorney General of the United States; Dr. Lyman J. Briggs, Director of the U. S. Bureau of Standards, Washington, D. C.; Dr. R. D. W. Connor, First Archivist of the United States; Dr. John G. Frayne, Electrical Research Products, Inc., Hollywood, Calif.; and Mr. J. I. Crabtree, Editorial Vice-President of the Society of Motion Picture Engineers.
