Abstract: The paper describes the purpose of the vocal room of the RKO Studios, and the factors involved in providing satisfactory acoustics for this room. In particular, to avoid coincident reinforcement of the normal modes of vibration, the ratio of the height, width, and length of this {small) enclosure was made to vary with the 2/3 power of 2.
