Abstract: Problems relating to cropping losses are briefly discussed. A description is given of a unique method of simultaneously marking an identical safe-title area on all preview monitors in a television system. Using an electronic generator, marking signals are fed to preview monitors along with video signal. Advantages of the system are outlined.
