Abstract: For the first time since 1952, Technical Committee 36 on Cinematography of the International Standards Organization will be holding its Plenary Meeting in the United States. The Eighth Plenary Meeting of ISO/TC 36, tentatively scheduled to be held at the Cascades Conference Center in Colonial Williams-burg, Virginia, 10–17 December 1973, is expected to bring together leading motion-picture engineers from 18 nations which are substantially concerned in the production of motion-picture films.
