Abstract: Two new high-speed Ektachrome reversal color films (Daylight and Type B) have been designed to provide improved sharpness, grain and color rendition with no sacrifice in speed. A simplification of the prehardened Ektachrome process for which these new films are designed is described. Still higher speeds can be obtained, when required, by a process modification. These films are widely useful in the color television news, sports, industrial and education fields.
