- Abstract
- In April 1990 a fully integrated HDTV mobile teleproduction unit was placed in operation for the advancement of HDTV production in Canada. The design process and operating practices implemented for the realization of this facility are described, and critical viewing angle, size of monitors, editing, conversion to other production standards, and the practical application of SMPTE 240M is discussed in the context of an operating environment. This article should be of interest to members contemplating design and construction of an HDTV production studio in the near future.
