- Abstract
- This article outlines several test methods for determining the slip properties of film. One method can determine whether or not a film has been lubricated, while other methods can deduce the exact friction coefficient of different types of film. These methods aid the movement of film through a camera by analyzing the different forces acting on the film, and help prevent such problems as picture jitter, damage, and even breakage of film.
