- Abstract
- To satisfy the need for a smaller and lighter color TV camera with reduced power consumption, a pickup tube for an 18-mm electrostatic-focus magnetic-deflection pickup tube has been developed. A new photoconductive target, based on the Saticon* target, that is appropriate for a pickup tube of a consumer-use TV camera has also been developed. The combination of a high-performance stripe filter integrated faceplate and a new type of photoconductive target was effective in solving a number of problems.
