- Abstract
- There exists a requirement for a cinema theater audio processor capable of reproducing all the sound formats presently available in large movie houses. The CP200 is an attempt to rationalize the various processing and signal routing decisions that have to be made in switching from one format to another, and to provide a method of selection which is repeatable and simple to operate in the sometimes crowded environment of the projection booth. It is also designed to be easily and comprehensively extended to accommodate future formats.
