- Abstract
- Tokyo Broadcasting System Inc. (TBS) has developed and put into practical use an automatic transmission system for on-line radio broadcasting of commercials. A massive volume of A/D converted commercials are stored in magnetic disk memory and then picked up and replayed whenever necessary. The system utilizes the high-speed random-access capability of magnetic disks and, therefore, is capable of multiplex processing as well as audio editing. The system can also be applied to other diverse fields of audio filing.
