- Abstract
- This paper addresses the concerns of Canada's private television broadcasters. The rapid advance of communication technology brings challenges to the survival of conventional “free” broadcasting in this country that has more options in television viewing than any other nation. It discusses the need for appropriate legislation, innovative policies, and effective regulation.
